This Privacy Policy explains what information PocketAgent collects from you, how we use it, with whom we share it, how we protect it, and how you can request access or deletion. This policy also describes how to delete your account. For details on deletion see Account Deletion.
We may share data with service providers for analytics, hosting, and AI processing when cloud sync is enabled (explicit opt-in only). All AI processing is abstracted through secure APIs.
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, limited access controls). Local-first storage means your data stays on your device by default.
Local data is retained until you delete it. If you opt-in to cloud sync, we retain account and conversation data while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion for legal and operational needs.
To delete your account, open the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion will remove your profile and associated user-generated content within 7 days. Some backups or logs may persist longer for legal reasons.
Our app is intended for users ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us at support@pocketagent.app.
We will post changes here with a new effective date. For significant changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notice.
